| Milk Pudding Pasta |

This recipe is for those who used to enjoy macaroni pud as a kid. It was given to us by Chris, a customer at Lewes Farmers' Market, who makes it with our fresh Casarecce. We hope you'll enjoy it too:- Chris' old fashioned milk pasta pudding 125gms Bookham Casarecce 1 pt whole or semi-skimmed milk 1 tablespoon natural cane sugar (serves 3 to 4) Arrange the pasta evenly over the base of an open two pint/one litre ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the sugar on top and pour on the milk. Put into the centre of a preheated oven at 170degrees C. After ten minutes reduce the heat to 150C for a further 30 mins. There should still be some free milk around the pasta and the milk skin should be golden brown. Serve hot. Hope you enjoy it. Thank You Chris! |
